Latin Cavalry

I finally managed to take photos of the Latin cavalry I've recently completed:
A full unit shot
Close up of the command figures
Close shot of the rear
A side view
The shielded side
Figures are by 1st Corps and transfers by LBMS for Aventine Velites.

  2. Cheers, both. I do like the 1st Corps figures. They look as though they are are about to charge to their doom, as is the way of Roman cavalry

  5. Thanks for looking, everyone. Strangely enough, my Roman cavalry units have in the past performed very well when I have graded them the worst. They always seem to do better as militia level medium horse than as veteran heavies. Especially against cataphracts. Nobody knows why - it's just one of life's little mysteries. We'll just have to see if this tradition continues with the new units!
