Sumerians in Battle

These are some photo of Simon's rather lovely Sumerians and friends in the heat of combat. Taken from a game in Glasgow a few weeks ago, the photos are courtesy of Simon. Not a period you see very often, and not with this number of figures!

    That is a huge game! The long row of battle carts is an impressive sight especially when photographed down its length.

      Hi Phil, I can't claim the credit for these, unfortunately! They belong to Simon at my former club in Glasgow, he of the unfeasibly large collection of wheeled contraptions.

    Top marks to Simon for this very impressive display. Would love to see more of this. Is this a lucky once off set of photos or is there a blog somewhere.

      Unfortunately not - folks were kind of relying on me to publish everything here. But then I moved away. Having said that, they are still sending me photos of the games in Glasgow so I can keep posting.
