Welcome to Guidowg!

I've just reciprocated by joining Guidowg's blog here.  There are some truly lovely Aventine Romans amongst other goodies; do have a look.  I'm still trying to resist buying these myself; I can feel my willpower weakening.  But I have too many other things to finish first...

    Thanks for the mention on your blog, its a great site.
    I havent tried Tactica II as yet, we've had some large games with WAB and now might be heading down the 'Clash of Empires' road. We usually make a day of it for huge games but Tactica II seems to give pretty quick results. Have you gamed using the 'Clash of Empires'?

    I haven't played 'Clash of Empires', so I don't know how it would hold up for a large game. I'll maybe ask around the folks at the club; I do know that one or two of them have bought the rules and played it a little. The big advantage of Tactica II for us is that we have a reasonable number of players who have been involved in the playtesting.
