To the right of this first picture, the surviving Numidians under Masinissa stay out of range of the remnants of the Balearic slingers. Tychaeus did well to get a draw here. Finally, the lines meet. What looks like more Carthaginian infantry to the top left of this photo is actually their destroyed units. At the bottom left of the picture, the rightmost of Hannibal's veterans can be seen lagging behind the rest of their compatriots:
